Father, we thank you today for laborers.
For those whose strength and diligence keep our communities running, whose hands provide the necessities of life, we pray Your blessing.
We thank you for those who have ideas, for those who teach, who empower us to improve, and for those who create and bring beauty to our eyes and music to our ears.
For caregivers and health protectors, miracle workers in your Name, we give You thanks and praise.
And for those who would protect us, who put themselves in harm’s way for our defense, we pray for watch care.
But Father, we know that the harvest is plentiful and the laborers in Your vineyards are few. And so we ask a special blessing on those who work for the kingdom.
Knowing that Your work is our calling and Your love is our reward, may we ever serve in the greatest capacity we can … to be a servant of the Most High God.
