Door Frame Scriptures: Being in Prayer


"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."

Ephesians 3:20

Dear sisters in Christ,


As young women, mothers and grandmothers, we carry our children and families in our hearts and prayers every day. We often find ourselves on our knees, lifting them up to the Lord, asking for His protection, guidance, and blessings upon their lives. We often find hurts and circumstances that we do not have the capacity to understand.


Ephesians 3:20 reminds us of the boundless power of our Heavenly Father, who is capable of doing far more than we could ever “ask or imagine.” In our prayers, let us trust that God’s plans for our loved ones are beyond our greatest hopes and dreams. As we pray for our families, let us remember to surrender our worries and fears to God, who is infinitely powerful and loving. Let us pray with faith, believing that God can and will work miracles in their lives, even when we cannot see the path ahead.


Ephesians 3:20 encourages us to pray boldly, knowing that God’s power is at work within us and within those we love. Whether we are asking for healing, wisdom, or strength, let us trust that God’s response will exceed our expectations. In our daily walk, let us continue to lift our children and grandchildren to the Lord, confident that He hears our prayers and is able to do immeasurably more than we can imagine.


May our prayers be filled with gratitude for His faithfulness and trust in His perfect plans. As we pray, let us be reminded of God’s immense love and power, and may our hearts be filled with peace, knowing that He holds our families in His mighty hands.
