Living the Fruit of the Spirit

Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives. Galatians 5:25 The Message   Dear Father, Teach us to love without fear or hesitation. May we choose joy, seek peace and learn patience. Let the desire for kindness guide our every act and Your goodness define our steps. May our faith never falter and gentleness and self-control overwhelm our concern for self. For it is in the fruit of our endeavors that Your light shines through us. Help us to reflect the One we serve in our service to others. Lead us in the paths of righteousness for Your name sake and for the salvation of others. In the name of the Savior we pray, Amen
